Storytelling Workshops for Children

Good morning folks!
Today I’m announcing a couple of storytelling workshops for children which we’ve organised for the Easter holidays 🙂

The first workshop will be aimed at 5 – 8 year olds and will be held on the 11th April at 9.30 until 11.00 at new venue “Number One” in Banchory.  kaidee-stories-permission

“5 to 8 year olds and their families are welcome to join Pauline Cordiner of Fizzy’s Funtastic Parties for a fun storytelling workshop at Number One, Scott Skinner Square Banchory!

We’ll start off with a game to say hello, listen to a story and then have fun exploring the world of storytelling! The children will have the opportunity to use puppets to tell a story and we’ll play some more storytelling games.

Spaces are limited and must be booked in advance. Cost £5 per child. Please contact Pauline by emailing for more details.

Number One offers workshop space but also has a coffee where parents can enjoy teas, coffees and delicious cakes while their children are taking part in the workshop. If you wish to join your child in the workshop please let us know 🙂

Pauline has been telling stories at festivals, schools, clubs, castles, libraries and museums for over 15 years and is a member of the Scottish Storytelling Centre’s directory as well as the Scottish Book Trust Live Literature directory and Equity. Since 2016, she has been running “Fizzy’s Funtastic Parties” with her puppet pal Fizzy The Fairy (who has demanded that she be allowed to attend the workshop!) Pauline is fully insured, is a first aider and has her PVG certificate. Fizzy herself is a teacher back in fairy land where she teaches younger fairies the important lessons of “Chaos” and “How To Charm Humans””
