Many of the storytellers are historical reenactors, so expect to see some authentic clothing and weapons too!

Strawberry Moose was chuffed to meet her first big audience and Fizzy’s heid is huge after all the attention!
I just LOVE our local museums and the Tolbooth Museum in Stonehaven is a huge favourite! Get your art supplies out as there’s a competition for P5 to P7 children!
There’s plenty of inspiration at the museum – the kids can submit a drawing, painting or another kind of art work inspired by items at the museum or Stonehaven Harbour.
There will then be an exhibition of all the entries the weekend of the 26/27 June and I’ll be there telling stories – also inspired by the museum and harbour! 
Good news everybody! The wonderful folks at Musica Workshops have just put up our latest story video!
A boy becomes king by being brave and not giving up – but before that, there’s a whole heap of characters misbehaving and carrying on – Fuzzy the Fairy as the 80s style news reporter, a prima donna Granny, a pirate who dreams of gold and of course Bjorn the Viking singing a sea shanty about how good he is at gardening and invading!

It’s going to be so nice to be back with real live audiences again! Our wonderful local community centre, Inchgarth, is making use of its outside space to welcome the toddler group back again!
I’m going to be doing an interactive story with the wee ones on the 27th May and am really looking forward to getting my fairy kit on and telling a story involving all the childrens’ favourite animals!

Good morning folks!
Tickets will soon go on sale for three storytelling workshops organised by the Grampian Association of Storytellers and our friends at the Elphinstone Institute.
The workshops are aimed at folk who wish to develop their oral storytelling skills. Participants are encouraged to attend all three workshops, however it is possible to attend fewer as each workshop is free-standing.
The workshops will be held on the 27th March, 10th April and 24th April and the themes are “Personal Stories,” “Traditional Tales,” and “Stories of Place.”
Pauline Cordiner and Jackie Ross will be joined by Sheena Blackhall, Diana Peers and Joan Anderson. Please see the attached poster and links below for further details. Tickets go on sale on the 16th March and we anticipate that they will go quickly -so get your bookings in as soon as possible!
