Well it’s a busy week ahead with a couple of parties, a couple of tours but… this coming weekend Pauline will be Storyteller In Residence at the 2017 Stonehaven Folk Festival!
“On Saturday 8th July between 1 and 2.15, join me for the family show – storytelling for all ages at St Bridgets Hall (just before the World Paper N Comb Championship!)
On Sunday 9th July between 12.45 and 1.45 come and join us for a “lazy Sunday afternoon storytelling “workshop” – learn about some tall stories and how to make them come alive.” All are welcome but this is aimed for a family audience, if under 16 then accompanied by an adult. This will be held at the recreation club. (This event is free as part of the “Connecting Communities” project sponsored by Aberdeenshire Council)
Here I am on the festival web page – hope to see you all there!

Coming up on the 19th May, I’ll be telling stories and singing a few wee ballads at Lumphanan – please join us ๐

I was caught a couple of weekends ago telling this story at the Anatomy Rooms while my daughter Molly and I were in taking part in Jason Nelson’s “The Listener”
https://youtu.be/b5DcN_avTcs – thanks Fiona for allowing me to share the video! ๐
Monday evening’s Beer and Bloodthirsty Tales at Underdog was amazing. ย Fiona Jane Brown and I told tales from the Castlegate’s bloody past and the audience was wonderful! ย We’re performing this Friday evening at Ma Cameron’s in a set called “Spooky Shenanigans at the Sow Croft Inn.” ย Fully booked already I’m afraid.
I’ll be back at Underdog telling tales of terror on the 22nd May with Hidden Aberdeen Toursย telling stories with Fiona-Jane Brown and Haworth Hodgkinson (writer & musician) will be providing some atmospheric music and poetry. Thanks Amie Bain Photography for the photographs!
Good afternoon folks!
This event is coming up at Deeside Activity Park on the 8th April if you’re looking for something to do during the Easter Holidays
