Stories from Photies

Here’s a selection of photographs for the P6/7 storytelling club at Kaimhill Primary.
I want them to make up a story for some of these characters… I wonder what they’ll come up with?
I wonder what they’ll make of the real stories behind the photographs. Do you know any of them?

Storytelling at Aberdeenshire Farming Museum

Fizzy and I had a super day at Aberdeenshire Farming Museum yesterday telling stories of fairies and the local wildlife. Thanks everyone at Aberdeenshire Museums Service for having us along and making us feel so welcome!

We’re posing with Pauline’s dad’s uncle Jim Hunter of Auchterless. There’s also photos of Pauline’s Grandad in the Weel Vrocht Grun exhibition.

Fizzy’s Funtastic Ice Cream!

How many of you can say you know someone who’s had an ice cream named after them?

Yesterday Pauline and Fizzy had the most awesome time at Portsoy telling stories and doing Fairy Doors and Trolls as part of the Portsoy Book Festival. Imagine Fizzy’s big head when she found out the local ice cream shop, Portsoy Ice Cream had named an ice cream after her!!

Timrous The Moose

That’s Timrous the wee moose an masel aff tae the bairnies o Kaimhill skweel fur a wee bittie Rabbie Burns!

Burns may have written “Tae A Moose” about him but there’s a lot more to Timrous’s story. He’s in love with a wee lady moosie but he’s just not good enough for her parents. We’ll see about that! They’ll get a wee bit of my favourite of Burns romantic songs “The Lea Rig” too 🙂20190121_123743.jpg
